Minds are like parachutes; They only function when they are open

Sir James Dewar (British chemist and physicist, 1842-1923) said: "Minds are like parachutes. They only function when they are open".

The problem for many of us is not that we are not able to achieve great wealth and success, but that we have closed our minds to many excellent ideas that can put us on the path to achieve that result.

Have you ever had a great idea that made your heart beat faster and started to dream about how wonderful it would be if you could make it? Then, it is most likely that doubt and disbelief have invaded your mind. And then you've thought, "I have no money or knowledge to do it, no one would take me seriously," and so on.

Doubt and skepticism are symptoms of a closed mind. Success cannot come from that kind of attitude. Instead, open your mind, let the ideas flow, and then you do whatever is necessary to move forward with these ideas and see how far they can take you. Let your imagination run freely. Then, tune with the universe to get the answers to what should be the path you can go to achieve it.

Affirmation: Today I open my mind to inspiration.
